We recommend conducting a Search Engine Optimization audit weekly on your organization’s digital platform. Some of our clients have asked us if this is overkill. We need to know, how well our landing pages are performing, how well is the client’s home page performing, and we need to measure the A/B of all our call-to-action sections.
So what is an SEO Audit?
According to ahrefs.com, an SEO Audit is a process that evaluates all aspects of a website that impact its performance in search engines and identifies opportunities for improvement. This process involves analyzing on-page elements, content, website speed, backlink profile, and technical issues.
We explain to our clients, that building a digital platform is just not enough. Your organization needs to measure, what your target audience is doing once they reach your platform. Does your target audience provide their email address to your email capture? Does your target audience purchase your products? Is your target audience selecting to attend your upcoming events? If the answer is no, then your organization needs to know what behavior is occurring and more importantly how can your organization change your target audience’s behavior. And, are your visitors really your organization’s target audience?
How to do an SEO Audit?
Your organization is going to have to check on-page SEO, Title Tag Optimization, Meta Tag Optimization, URL Optimization, Page Speed Optimization, Check keyword ranking, Conduct Backlink Analysis, and Monitor your organization’s digital platform process. These are some of the major elements, which need to be reviewed on a weekly basis.
