Why your organization should be Social Sharing?

A couple of weeks ago, we published a blog post about social sharing and the importance of this free Marketing Strategy. We receive many emails about why would your organization want to social share, and what are the benefits of social sharing.  Then we realizes that we did not mention the benefits of social sharing and how it can really boost your organization’s digital platform. We recommend social sharing, as it is a very easy way to boost your organization’s blog posts.  However, before your organization can begin social sharing. Your organization is going to need a couple of elements, which are free. Your organization is going to need to create a social media account.  Which social media platform should be determined by your target audience?  Next, your organization’s digital platform should have a blog section, and it should be new content on a consistent basis. We recommend at least bi-weekly, but it is up to your organization’s blogging policy.

Traffic

Social sharing will drive more traffic to your organization’s digital platform.  Which should put more eyeballs on your content and organization. Many of your social media followers, do not go to your organization’s digital platform to view blog posts. Many of your leads and visitors, will not sign-up for email reminders, but they will review your blog if they are reminded with a social sharing hint.

Brand Awareness

Because your organization’s digital platform will be having more traffic, your brand will have more exposure.  Exposure equals brand awareness.  Your content should be king, which will lead visitors back to your blog posts.  But if it does not, then your social sharing will keep your brand in front of them.

Community

Build a community around your brand, with all the traffic that social sharing can create. Once your organization has created your community, then it will be easier to add them to an email capture and sequence.  This means your organization can move them from visitors (or leads) to conversions (or sales). Your organization’s digital platform should be looking to increase leads and eventually turn them into conversions.

Search Engine Rankings

Your organization’s digital platform is going to have better search engine rankings, just because of the traffic. Search engines, like Google, do look at traffic and how that traffic is being driven. It is a win-win situation for your organization and it’s search engine strategy.

Conclusion

Social sharing does not work unless your organization has a social media platform.  Your social media platform should have followers, which means valuable content. Next, your organization’s digital platform should have a blogging section.  Your organization’s blogging section should be consistent. Finally, your organization’s digital platform should social share all blog posts.
