Why you should be using “Social Sharing”?
Why your organization should be using social sharing to gain more traffic to your digital platform? Social sharing is not a new feature, but a lot of digital platforms do not use this free or low costing option. Social sharing is social media icons, typically on the left side of a digital platform. Your visitor can repost your blog post on their social media platform. Your blog post can get more eyes, which could mean more traffic or potential leads. Many of our clients did not want to use social media sharing, for they did not see the big picture or potential leads. We love social sharing and do not feel like it overloads our digital platform. We have set our social sharing to only display certain content and pages. To get the full benefits of social sharing, your digital platform should do the following:
Content
Your organization should post only quality and engaging content, which should not surprise anyone. Post content that your target audience is struggling with, and avoid content that is not relevant to your potential lead. Stay away from vacation posts, or personal information. Unless that is your brand or the intentions of your digital platform.
Visual
We receive a lot of comments about our selection of images. Make sure your digital platform is using quality images. Stay away from the free images from Google. These are typically not clear and concise images. Make a small investment with your visual content, there are several really good ones.
Plugin
Select a good plugin, we use Monarch. We have used Monarch for years and have not had any issues or problems. Monarch is from the Elegant Themes family. It is a premium plugin, but it will work with any WordPress Theme.
Share
Your organization should be sharing all your blog posts. Your organization should ask all your followers to share your posts. This will create more eyes on your digital platform. Again, this is a free marketing tool, and one that can really benefit your organization’s digital platform.
