What your landing page should include?
What are the few elements that should be on every landing page? Yes, your website should have a landing page. There should be a service or product, which would need a landing page. This should not be included on your main menu or navigation. These landing pages or similar to sales or information pages for your organization. What are the elements of any landing page?
Minimal
Minimal is the best. Your content should not be lower than the fold or top part of your page. There have been many studies and most visitors do not scroll down. You scroll down your website and wonder, why no one is clicking on your services or products. It is because no one scrolls below the fold. The newspaper industry taught us that many decades ago, people just do not scroll. This is the reason why, most newspapers are folded in half.
Page elements
Your landing page should have a header, which should include some text that is short and attention-getting. Next, your landing page should have a subheading, which is a factual statement. Finally, your landing page should have a short form or call to action. This is where you want your visitors to complete a form, schedule a meeting, or make a purchase.
Reality
Your reality is very important. It is your credibility. Include some testimonials, statistics, and customers. Make sure your testimonials are real people, statistics are verifiable, and customers are industry leaders.
Images
Do not pull free images from Google. Use appropriate images. Use images, which you have professionally taken, or paid images.
Font
Use font, which can be easily read. Remember, you might have 10 seconds to gain someone’s attention. You do not want them to be trying to decipher your content. Remember to make sure your landing page is accessible.
A/B Testing
If you do not know what A/B testing is, then we would recommend you review a prior blog post. The A/B testing should be centered around the heading, sub-heading, Call To Action, Images, Graphics, and reality elements.
Social Sharing
Include your social media platforms, and provide the ability for someone to share your landing page via social media.
