In the midst of Covid-19 (Corona Virus), we at JDS WebDesign are hoping everyone is safe, washing your hands frequently, sneezing and coughing in your elbow, and practicing social distancing. Over the next several weeks, we are planning on blogging about how to make your website more business-friendly. Generation X or Gen Y have created a new branding strategy and some are calling it “YOU DO YOU”. But what are you do you? And how can it assist you with your brand and/or improve your company’s brand? That is a good question, but the answer centers around Narrow Down, Understanding, and Rebrand.
Narrow Down
Narrow down what your strengths are and how they can assist with the growth of your brand. If your strengths are customer relations, then interact more with your clients. Find out what are their pain points, and create solutions. Offer these solutions to your existing and potential clients. While you might cast out a big net, focus on the fish that are in the net. Not the fish that are swimming alongside the net.
Understanding
Understanding how your skill set fits into your industry. Become a niche business, work on or in a specific industry. You can understand how to grow your business. If you are a social media specialist, then post and post on all the platforms. Showcase how your skill sets can help grow your business and more importantly how you can grow your existing and potential client’s businesses.
Rebrand
Rebrand your business to highlight your strengths. Remember you are the expert. Your brand should showcase your talents and expertise. Rebrand your business to highlight what you know. What are the pain points in your industry? How these pain points can be solved?
