I was a speaker at WordCamp Asheville over the weekend. I have spoke at many conventions and spoke at WordCamp Atlanta a few months ago. This was a very unusual situation for me. I had hurt my back a few months ago and was hunch over for most of the weekend. I had thought about calling WordCamp Organizer to cancel my presentation, but then I realized that was not me. I am a Hustler!
My hustle
I invited my family to WordCamp Asheville. My wife had wanted to meet all my WordPress designers and developer friends. She was able to meet Kathy Drewien, Diana Nicholas, Bill and Rhonda Sterrett, and Brad Morison.
Many thanks to Rhonda and Bill for helping me with regards to my presentation and finding a place for me to sit and eat lunch. Diana and Kathy was wonderful with the after party on Saturday. Brad, for his encouragement and driving me to the after party, was awesome.
My kids for helping their ailing dad, as we went to a Asheville Tourist baseball game on Saturday. And for keeping their mom company, while I spoke about “How to create revenue streams with WordPress” to about 40 or so web designers and developers.

WordCamp is such an awesome way to network. I have meet a couple of neophyte designers and developers, who I plan on reaching out to offer support. Several new projects have been placed in my log, and I am looking forward to making them become a reality. But more importantly, I have meet some really cool web designers and developers, who are hustling everyday like me. We just want to create Awesome web products, and build long term relationships with our new and existing clients.
