Top Three Support Platforms
In the mist of Covid-19 (Corona Virus), we at JDS WebDesign are hoping everyone is safe, washing your hands frequently, sneezing and coughing in your elbow, and practicing social distancing. Over the next several weeks, we are planning on blogging about how to make your website more business friendly. We will have some tutorials on our favorite plugins and features, which will make your site more efficient.
Support Platforms are great for taking tickets from clients who may have a question or concern about the product or service that was provided. They are very helpful on how to approach a question or concern that someone may have. These plugins are also great tools on how to approach a variety of clients.
Customer Service and Business Productivity are the factors that are heavily impacted by these platforms. Businesses can use this as a leg up on how to treat clients and how to serve them well. Productivity would also go up because of how smooth and quickly it fixes issues. The following platforms are very useful to businesses that want to improve efficiency and service.
Sola Support Ticket
Sola Support is a very good plugin for small businesses who want to improve their customer service. Pricing is also not expensive as they have some features that can help with a business. The support system also utilizes Macros which impacts the quick automatic responses that a customer gets back.
When utilizing the plugin through WordPress it was a little hard searching it in the search engine of the plugins. It is very specific so make sure that you type every word very precisely in the word box. Overall not a bad platform as it does work on your website. There is no label on the dashboard which makes the process a little too long. You will need to spend a good amount of time on this project. This is a decent plugin in my standards.
Support Candy Helpdesk & Support Ticket System is a GDPR compatible system that helps making tickets easy. The system that is used has many features to help companies out to the simplest form. Pricing can get expensive but this platform is free. Many of the features also integrate with your ticket system to allow for more productivity.
We have tested Support Candy and it is a very good platform. There is a very unique format as everything is all in one place. Support Candy is very customizable which is good as it can allow for us to make it pop on the website. When testing the demo, there was no reply email that was sent to me. That could be an issue when communication is in place.
This platform is great as it is easily identifiable on the dashboard and there is an average system in place.
Now we have used Awesome Support which I can tell you is a really good platform. This platform has so many features that it blows my mind. Awesome Support system has importing, email notification, privacy, and ability to upload photos/images. The downside is that this platform is expensive.. Filestack, Mail Chimp, Enavo, EDD, Facebook Chatbox are among the premium features that you can get through their plans.
When we tested the Awesome Support demo, it was not only easy to use but better than advertised. There were instant and fast email notifications that were sent to the user. Also when you reply back to the user, the user gets an email of your response. Which is great because most people don’t want to be stuck on a website for hours. The productivity of this platform is enormous as it does so much for both the business and customer. We really like Awesome Support as this platform is very useful for a business that wants efficiency across the board.
