Several Mobile Application Engagement and how they can assist?

In the mist of Covid-19 (Corona Virus), we at JDS WebDesign are hoping everyone is safe, washing your hands frequently, sneezing and coughing in your elbow, and practicing social distancing.  Over the next several weeks, we are planning on blogging about how to make your website more business friendly.  We will have some tutorials on our favorite plugins and features, which will make your site more efficient.

You are thinking about getting a mobile application for yourself or your organization.  You are past the sticker shock, or maybe you are looking at KYtoGA.  What would be a couple of reason for you to pull out your credit card and allow your intuition becomes a reality?  Did you know that there are over 7 billion mobile application users in the world?  Did you know that the average person spends about 3 hours and 40 minutes a day using mobile applications on their phones?  These users are reading content, listening to podcasts, finding businesses, contacting businesses, and purchasing products.

Well after you get your mobile application, then what are some things that you can do to engage your visitors?

Prioritize Usability

Your mobile application should have special offers, excellent content, and assist with pain points that can convince visitors to click the download button.  Your mobile application should not be clunky and slow.  These are the two main reasons for a visitor to uninstall your mobile application.  You should TEST, TEST, and TEST your mobile application. Test it during development, and test it long after launching your site.  The usability of your mobile application is similar to someone walking into a brick-and-mortar store. Sometimes you only get one chance to get it right.

Signup on your website

Promote your mobile application on your website. You should have an exclusive landing page, which tells some of the features and functions of your mobile application.  You should use your social media platform to reach your target audience, Facebook,  Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin are some popular ones.  Have an email capture on your website, use the email capture to create a workflow to introduce your mobile application to your email list.

Create onboard program

Once someone installs your mobile application, you should send them a welcome email with a short video about all the application’s features and functions.  Provide a special discount on a product or service that you offer, make an announcement about the new visitors, and send them an online gift.   Create a loyalty program with exclusive offers to your mobile application users only.  Use analytics, if someone spends time reading a blog post about a product or service, then send them a special offer.

In-app customer support

Offer customer service to your mobile application users. All issues should be addressed as soon as possible.   Use live chats and chatbots to assist your mobile application users.  Lastly follow up with your mobile application customers.

Conclusion

Mobile applications are your friend.  In today’s marketing world, you need to be more engaging.  If the pandemic from 2020 taught us anything, we have to be engaging if we want to continue to exist.  We offer mobile applications to WordPress website owners for $2,500.00.  We will put your application in Google Play Store and iOS Store.  Typically it takes us anywhere from 3 – 10 days to have you live in both stores.  IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH OUR SERVICES, THEN A FULL REFUND WITH NO QUESTIONS.
